Chapter 5. Part 3. The decision. Sunday, December 4, 2011, 8:08 AM Then, one day, without letting Abby know, Thomas decided to leave Varsity Fanclub. He had thought of it a long time ago and he was not sure if Abby is going to allow him, so he kept it a secret. After 2 years and 2 months of being together, and Thomas's relationship with Abby lasted for 1 year and 1 month, he soon had to break the news to Phoenix. Thomas: I know i've been in the band for so long, and there's a lot of things going on. It's so confusing me! Phoenix: I understand, but you don't have to quit the band because of fights! You guys are bestfriends, like brothers. You guys can make it through! Thomas: It's not just that, I want to start with myself! People are telling me i'm better off alone. So i'm going to give it a try. I want to have a solo career! Phoenix: Have you told the boys? Have you told her? Thomas: Not yet, maybe tomorrow, i'm going to tell the boys.. But her, I have no idea when.. Phoenix: Okay, just make it quick. You have to break the news to her. She's the co-manager. She needs to know. Thomas: Okay, sure. The next day, he told the news to the boys. Of course they are unhappy, but there's nothing they can do.
